JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Back in March, Special Olympics Missouri canceled all local practices and programming through May 31 in response to the pandemic.
One event canceled included the State Summer Games, which was originally scheduled for June 5-7. President and CEO of Special Olympics Missouri Susan Stegeman told KXCV/KRNW they're planning a virtual State Summer Games.
Special Olympics Missouri will make an official announcement with more details at 6 p.m. May 5 on Facebook Live. For more information, you can visit www.somo.org/athome.
